An exhausted kite being treated at the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Thane, on Tuesday. Dr Rane and Dr Pravin of the SPCA said that due to the soaring temperatures in the city, an alarmingly high number of birds were being brought to the SPCA for treatment after getting entangled in cables, electric high tension wires and telephone wires
