Leopard rescued from Nagalpur village near Rajkot


 RAJKOT: A leopard entered a house in Nagalpar village in Mendarda taluka of Junagadh district on Thursday morning. According to sources, the incident occurred at Chiman Ranpariya's house at around 8 am on Thursday. Ranpariya's family members were busy with their morning chores when the leopard suddenly entered their home in Sadbhavna Nagar on the outskirts of the village.
"Suspecting that a wild animal was inside, the family first confirmed that it was a leopard and then locked the room it was in. They then informed the forest department about it. Our rescue team reached the spot, rescued the leopard successfully and brought the animal to rescue centre in Sasan," deputy conservator of forests, (headquarters) Sasan Gir, Sandeep Kumar said. No one was injured in the incident.
