Urban Treehouse: Building holds 150 trees to prevent air and noise pollution
A
residential building in Turin, Italy has been designed in such a way
that it holds around 150 trees surrounding, which protects it from air
and noise pollution.
The five-storey apartment building has trees
and plants surrounding it from the ground floor to the top, which absorb
as much as around 200,000 litres of carbon dioxide per hour and prevent
harmful gasses emitted by traffic from entering the building, according
to
Colossal.

The
plants also help in preventing extreme temperatures as they block
sunlight during summer and allow warm sunrays inside during winter,
creating a microclimate.
